Refund policy

Pre-Orders, Returns & Refund Policy:

Important Information:

Pre-orders reserve your item before it sells out. Because inventory is secured specifically for you, pre-orders are eligible for store credit only. We only ship complete orders same or next day business day after we receive them. Please place your pre-orders according to estimated delivery window! Orders will only ship once all items have arrived. By purchasing, you agree that you understand our policy.

We hope you love what you’ve ordered from DeepNerdd.com. If there’s an issue or you’re not 100% satisfied, you may return most item(s) to us by mail. Please read our return and pre-order policy in full before making a purchase or returning an item.

All eligible returns must be in brand new condition, in its original packaging and accessories intact, unopened and shipped back to us within 30 days of your items being delivered.

Anything purchased past that date, opened or damaged may not be returned. Hot Wheels, Match Box cars, Funko Pops, Funko Mystery Minis, Mystery Boxes, Blind Boxes, Subscription Boxes, Clothing and FiGPiNs are NOT returnable or exchangeable. All Rare Treasures, Clearance and Final Sale items purchased at DeepNerdd.com cannot be returned or exchanged.

Refunds on returns are issued after the product has been received and processed. Refunds are in the original form of payment. In cases where this is not possible and we are told in advance, a store credit will be issued.

Once we issue your refund there may be a delay for these funds to show in your account:

  • Credit Cards: Typically, 3 to 5 business days.
  • Store credit: Available immediately

Lost or Missing Shipment

Damaged and Defective Items

Any item that is defective can be exchanged for a replacement of the same item (or a replacement part depending on the issue), if you send us the request within 7 days of receiving your order. If the item is no longer available, we will be happy to issue a refund when you return the item to us. A return label will be sent to you so you can return the defective item.

We may request that you e-mail a picture (or video) of your broken or defective item to help us determine what exactly is wrong and if a replacement part would be helpful.

The following issues do not qualify as a defective product:

  • Minor cosmetic paint issues.
  • Package condition.
  • Battery stopped working. 
  • Item listed and sold as "damaged box", damaged or final sale. 

Opened Items:

Opened items are not eligible for returns. this includes:

  • Items that have been opened or removed from the packaging
  • Items that have visible indications that the package has been opened
  • Opened cases that are no longer factory sealed.

Return Shipping - Domestic & Canada Customers

If the return is due to our error or defective product, we will cover any return shipping fees as long as the return is completed through a Deep Nerdd return option (a prepaid label provided by us). If you choose a self-return option (a carrier or service of your choice) you will pay the cost charged by the carrier selected and will not be reimbursed. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged packages through a self-return option. Contact us if you need a return label.

If the return is for any other reason, we will not pay for the return shipping fees and you will be responsible for all shipping costs without reimbursement. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged packages returned to us.

Refused and Undeliverable Shipments

A refused shipment will be treated as a return and any return costs will be deducted from the refund.

If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an error on your part (such as incorrect address or not home), we will contact you to reship the package; any return and reshipping costs are due before the package is reshipped. Re-shipments for domestic customers may not be eligible for Flat Rate Shipping.

How to Prepare Your Item for Return Shipping

Please pack the item in an appropriate-sized shipping box and use bubble wrap or other shipping material to adequately protect the item. Please do not ever place the shipping label directly on the item to return it as this results in a partial or no refund. If the item is damaged in transit or received in less-than-original condition due to poor packaging, your refund will be void.

Clothing and Apparel

ALL clothing, socks and apparel may not be returned.

Restocking/Cancellation Fees

We typically do not return items after 30 days. If you cancel a Pre-Order for any reason, you'll receive that amount in a store credit. Any reward points earned (if any) will be subtracted from your balance on returns or cancelled orders. 

Our Customer Service team will contact you with any general concerns prior to issuing a refund.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it per our guidelines and if approved, we’ll issue you a full refund minus the shipping fee (If any). Refunds could take up to 7 to 10 days after we receive your item(s).

Deep Nerdd items do sell out quickly and MAY have a quantity limit. Deep Nerdd has the right to limit quantities of any item we sell. If you have questions, contact us at guestservice@deepnerdd.com.

Please save the invoice you received with your package or emailed to you. It’s your receipt in case you need to return/exchange your item(s). Once your return has been received, please allow 1-2 weeks for processing and to receive your refund on the credit card that was used. Please track your package to find out the delivery date. Deep Nerdd is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Due to extreme weather or world events, some shipments may be delayed, so please track your package to know when your shipment may arrive.
